One of a kind handmade sterling silver textured earrings. The body portion of this pair is 18ga and required the use of matching stamp dies to achieve a raised profile, a stamping technique known as embossing. The texturing was done by hand to mimic the look and feel of what the sand casting process would produce. The French style hooks are handmade using 20ga commercial round wire, work hardened to maintain its shape.
JDM hallmark with STERLING stamped on the backside. A brushed finish creates an antique effect that accentuates the contrast of the texture and stampwork with the satin sheen of the silver. Oxidized in liver of sulfur, buffed with steel wool.
