Sterling silver ingot split band bracelet with Pilot Mountain
One of a kind handmade sterling silver ingot repousse, split band cuff, size 5 5/8. The silver for this bracelet was melted down using a propane torch and poured into an adjustable steel ingot mold, resulting in a 4ga “slug” or blank. It was then hot forged to 8ga and rolled smooth using 4” wide flat rolling mill down to 10ga. Features a natural, high grade 28ct Pilot Mountain cabochon set in a serrated bezel and stamped applique housing. Traditional Navajo split band with classic repousse/relief work ends .
JDM hallmark with STERLING & INGOT stamped on the inside. Brushed satin finish gives the piece an antique look that helps to make the stampwork standout. Oxidized in liver of sulfur, buffed with steel wool.
